Shady Deals With Russian Scientists
This is a story filled with intrigue. There are some sketchy characters and questionable business practices, to say the least. This is the story of... Tetris. Yes, the game with all the blocks. Really.
This page explains the game's history and the ridiculous path it followed as it went from a Russian lab to being one of Nintendo's signature products and a game that captured the minds of millions. Supposedly, even the former-Soviet government got involved in the various dealings.
