My Silence Is Original

Apparently, silence is avante-garde music. And it can be copyrighted. If it can be copyrighted, one musician (silence-ist?) can sue another over it. Or so it seems.

My favorite example of laugh-out-loud ludicrous art is a piece by Yoko Ono that I heard at the awesome Tate Museum of Modern Art in London: about a minute of her coughing.

I would not be surprised if THAT was what broke up the Beatles...

i'm pretty sure "little" doucet had that john cage album at one point. he may even still have it.
