Photo Frenzy

I've uploaded a big batch of photos from the past few months for those who are interested. Lots of vacation photos, including many that are just snapshots of friends. If that's not your bag, I understand. If it is, click on over to the image gallery and check them out.

Subjects include: Sailing and hiking at Acadia Nat'l Park and Hardwood Island in Maine. Visiting a salmon farm and cooking fresh salmon on Hardwood Island, Maine. Hiking at Arches Nat'l Park, Utah. Georgetown Law Fall Float (Booze Cruise) on the Potomac.

In July, I visited Ground Zero, but I don't really know what to make of the pictures. By that time, the demolition was done and there was a big empty space. It's hard to capture emptiness and absence as the subject of a picture. It was made even more difficult by the fact that I don't personally feel the sense of emptiness. I didn't grow up with the towers on thy skyline as part of my life, so I don't really appreciate what I am missing when I look at Ground Zero. So those pictures may or may not make an appearance here.

I'm starting to look into third-party gallery systems so I can add captions and date info. If you know of any free and easy-to-setup galleries, let me know. I just don't have the time to roll my own right now.
