It Took Every Ounce Of Restraint
Justice Scalia spoke on constitutional interpretation today at school. It was for a particular Con Law class (not mine, sadly), so it wasn't open to everyone. My Copyright class follows that class in the same room, though. As I stood outside the room waiting for the end of class, I eyed the two secret service agents guarding the door to keep the riff raff like me out. I really, REALLY wanted to go up and ask them which one of them erased the tapes of his last public speech. All I could get is a reprimand for being a wiseass, right? So very tempting.

I so would have said something! (but I suppose that's why I am always getting into trouble)

That's why you have so many lawyer friends.

Indeed. Indeed. I think about this fact quite often. It is in a way comforting and yet distressing.

What Con Law 2 class had Scalia come in?

I think Professor Bloch, but I'm not positive. If you want me to find out for sure, drop me an email and I'll ask a friend who was in the class.
